This will be a weekend for the adventurous as we ride out to bring the cows home for winter, a round trip over two days covering 30kms of stunning KwaZulu-Natal countryside.

Arrive Friday noon, and spend the afternoon getting acquainted with your ranch horse for the weekend. Enjoy a late afternoon outride in autumn beauty before tucking in to a delicious 3 course Farmhouse dinner.

Saturday morning begins with a hearty farm breakfast, before embarking on the outward-bound trip to the herd through a wide range of terrain: forest, vlei and veld, with a country picnic en-route. We’ll leave the horses there for the night and you will be transported back to the Farmhouse accommodation for another dinner spoil and time around the fire pit to savour the day’s highlights.

Sunday morning begins early with cowboy coffee, rusks and muffins back at the herd, where we saddle up and drive the cattle home. An incredible full farmhouse breakfast brunch awaits at the end of the drive to complete a fantastic weekend in true country hospitality.
